Your California Privacy Choices
This page is for California residents and explains your right, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the "CCPA/CPRA"), to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. PestControlQuickly operates pestcontrolquickly.com and honors these rights.
Why This Applies to Us
PestControlQuickly is a free referral service that connects consumers who need pest control help with independent local pest control companies and with partners in our provider and lead-buyer network. To do that, we pass the contact and request information you give us to one or more of those providers so they can respond to you. Under the CCPA/CPRA, "sale" means disclosing personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" means disclosing it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we are compensated for connecting consumers with providers, and because we work with advertising partners, some of our disclosures of personal information may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under the law. We give you an easy way to opt out below.
Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age without the required affirmative consent.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser or device, to the extent required by law. Because a GPC signal is tied to a specific browser or device rather than to you personally, you may also submit the form below so we can apply your choice more broadly where we can identify you.
Authorized Agents & Verification
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of your written permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us. For an opt-out of sale or sharing we generally do not need to verify your identity, but we may deny a request we reasonably and in good faith believe is fraudulent. For requests to know, delete, or correct, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity against our records before acting.
We Will Not Discriminate
We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights. Note that if you opt out of sharing your information, we may no longer be able to connect you with a pest control company, because passing your request along is how the referral works — this is a functional result of the opt-out, not a penalty.
How and When We Respond
We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days. We process opt-out requests as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days from receipt. We respond to verifiable requests to know, delete, or correct within 45 calendar days, and may extend once by up to an additional 45 days (90 days total) with notice.
